Community buy-in is very important

It makes the system important to them

Makes it more likely that the community will fix and maintain the system as needed

If the community helps work to build and learn about the system, they will care about it more

What kind of training and education should we provide for our system

Buy local materials and supplies

This is a big responsibility

To prove to them that an organization can help them where so many have failed

To be a successful project for our group

To have a long term benefit for a large community

Sealing the open pit wells

They may degrade the clean wells that are present

Suggest ways to rehabilitate the wells or cover and seal them

Contact the community to see if they have ideas and availability for the project
