525 Status / Assignments - Final Design (pre implementation)

  • Monday April 2nd - first draft is due
  • April 8th - We will get feedback from Curtis
  • Wednesday April 11th with everyone's final edits

  • Calculate chlorine dose/contact time for open pit wells and hand pump wells - Josh
  • Verify standards for  E. Coli, Arsenic, and Manganese included -Curtis
  • Add more detail regarding the number of projects we intend to implement on this trip - Kelly/Kacey (add summary table)
  • Add tables of water quality information for each community - Kelly
  • We need to clarify where we will obtain the media and how we will sieve it etc - Kacey
  • Need more information on the materials within the filter, specifically grain size and angularity (Point 40) - Ryan
  • Definitely add language about hygiene training under education - Kelly
  • Need more information regarding the well closure – do we intend to fill it in?  If so, where will the material come from?  How will it be transported? - Kacey
  • Add an actual construction schedule -  Ryan (look at HASP)
  • update community agreement section with projects proposed/labor hours required - Dylan
  • Drawing set: cover sheet with index and site map - Kent
  • Add hand pump well site assessment language to section 10 - Josh/Kacey

First class is Tuesday at 7 of next week (April 3rd) - Everyone goes to this one
Mondays at 6:30 for beginners
Tuesdays at 6:30 for intermediates
